BLOCKCHAIN

A blockchain is a public ledger of all Bitcoin transactions that have ever been executed. It is constantly growing as ‘completed’ blocks are added to it with a new set of recordings. The blocks are added to the blockchain in a linear, chronological order.

A revolutionary platform that is changing the way we do business

HOW BITCOINS ARE MINED BITCOINS

10 minutes of transactions are collected and combined

into a block

“Miners” compete to verify/clear the transaction block

The first miner to verify the transaction block then emits a

“proof of work”...

Which is verified by all other miners

Upon satisfactory verification, the miner is rewarded with a transaction fee of 25 bitcoins

The newly created block is then added to the blockchain

The process begins all over again
