Golden Rules for Traders:

1. Decide your rules for risk management and entry - exit points for

profit as well as loss.

2. Never lose more than 1 % to 2% of your trading capital on any one trade.

3. Know your limits so don’t trade with money you can’t afford to lose.

4. Trade in the direction of the trend in your trading time frame.

5. Only look for low risk/high reward trades or high probability set up. When you do not have any signals, do not trade.

6. Trade your plan, your system, your signals, the chart and price, action and not your opinions, bias or predictions.

7. Find a trading methodology that fits your personality.

8. Your risk management rules will determine the success of your technical trading system.

9. The size of your wins and losses determines your trading success.

10. There’s no one rule to success in options. Keep reviewing your assessment horizon incorporating macro and micro factors.

DAILY NIFTY

Benchmark indices ended at two-month low on July 19 after Finance Minister Nirmala

Sitharaman dashed hope of a tweak in FPI surcharge. Continued asset quality concerns in

Q1 also spooked markets.

The BSE Sensex was down 560.45 points or 1.44 percent at 38,337.01 and the Nifty50

plunged 177.60 points or 1.53 percent to 11,419.30 after breaking out from the inverted

flag pattern formed on the daily chart.

The broader markets also traded in line with benchmarks as the Nifty Midcap cracked 2.15

percent and Smallcap index declined 1.8 percent.

BANK NIFTY

The Nifty Bank Future fell 614.65 points (-2.02%) and at 29834.00 after breaking out

from the inverted flag pattern formed on the daily chart. Nifty Bank lost 660 points.
