Operational Optimisation activities can be prioritised using PM, DT and Planning data
PM data prioritisation Alarms and Worst Elements/Clusters/Regions/Services/Customer Reports Benchmarking between Elements/Clusters/Regions Trouble Tickets Network audit reports Known Bad Element Lists
Sleeping Cells Neighbours not used SDCCH/WSP/Link Congestion
DT data prioritisation Cluster drive high level KPIs Benchmarking between historical data Comparison of DT data with OMC statistics
Planning data prioritisation % cluster integrated Hot spot classification
Task Prioritisation
Selection of cluster to optimise using PM data
Daily and weekly cluster level data identifies cluster CI545 as the worst performing cluster Daily report indicates that cluster has highest number of poor performing cells Weekly cluster performance from WEBWIZARD show that cluster has worst high level KPIs
Task Prioritisation – An Example
PM data used to observe historical performance of cell geographically Confirmation of problem severity by displaying daily/weekly PM statistics – RAB drop rate high
for identified problem cell but also higher for CI57843C1 Inspection of neighbouring cell availability – all cells available during drive test
Cell Daily Availability Cell RAB Voice Daily Drop Rate
Problem Resolution
Drive data shows poor coverage in problem area ASSET in conjunction with DT and PM data used for coverage optimisation Antennal tilt and orientation changes on CI57843C1 show coverage improvement
ASSET integration with RANOPT and OPTIMA benefits Access to all planned data, update Neighbour plans, heights profiling and geographical location Per site model tuning for better predictions and frequency plans Polygon based analysis Measured vs Predicted assessments 2 way interaction between planned and optimisation environment

OPTIMA)
AIRCOM OPTIMA licensing summary
• In terms of licensing the AIRCOM OPTIMA solution can be divided into two
distinct parts: client and interfaces
• The AIRCOM OPTIMA client is licensed based on the size of the network
which is measured by the number of elements managed in the loaded
interfaces
• Additionally, it is possible to buy “Productivity Packs” for the client side.
These packs are licensed in the same way as the AIRCOM OPTIMA client.
• The AIRCOM OPTIMA interfaces are licensed around the number and types
of interfaces loading into the data warehouse
• AIRCOM grants to the Customer a non-exclusive and non-transferable
licence to use the Licensed Material in the Territory during the Licence
Period for the internal business purposes of the Customer
What you get for your licences
• AIRCOM OPTIMA client (base
pack)• Standard features
• Report scheduler
• Productivity pack: Alarm
