Opt-EzTiffanyIs a 35 year old single mother of two young children, she lives in downtown Syracuse and drives a 1998 Buick Century. She works as an aid at James Square, where she constantly assists senior citizens and works hard to provide everything her children could ever need. She and her eight year old son suffer from headaches and could use glasses, but she doesn’t have insurance and can’t afford to even get her or her children’s eyes checked.
JamesIs a 45 year old business owner, husband, and father from Pittsford, NY. He drives a 2012 Ford Taurus and is a family man who loves to run on his free time. Due to his busy schedule he dreads having to take an hour out of his day to see the optometrist to get a check up on his astigmatism. Along with having better ways to spend his time he also has more important things to spend his money on.

Optometrists• Dr. Markowitz of Ithaca, NY.
• Said he would consider paying for a referral but it would depend on the validity of the device we use.
• Americas Best Contacts and Eye Glasses• Said they would but it would be up to their
corporate offices.

EyeNetra• Company founded by a group at
MIT Media Lab• Was developed for use in third
world countries where access to an optometrist is extremely limited.
Opt-Ez
Legality• Currently doctors of optometry have
regulations in place that prevent an optical diagnosis without an optometrist present• Reason for calling it an eye check up • Reason for not selling glasses and contacts
right from our kiosks
Opt-Ez
Future• Have in place the infrastructure
for when the legal obstacles are ironed out• Kiosks will already be all over the nation• Credibility will already be established• Customer base will already be established
