Why did we choose the song? – We have chosen WHERE DID I GO BY JORJA SMITH because despite the slow rhythm of the song the use of piano allows lots of beats throughout the course of the video which we can use to time our transitions. Also, the British urban elements of the song will match nicely to our London theme. It will make filming easier as we can film lots of different aspects of London which will have great continuity with the narrative. Similar to Emotions by Destiny Childs – the song has a lot of words which relate to love and a natural journey which we can use to create narrative throughout our video. The song is about love and the repetitive nature of the lyrics indicates it is a pop song as pop songs are often repetitive and simple so a wide audience can quickly learn the words.
