1.2 Intended Use• The device is manufactured in accordance with the current technological status and the recognized safety rules.

However, danger to the life and limb of the user or third parties and/or damage to the device and other tangible assets can arise during use.

• The device may only be used for its intended purpose and if it is in perfect working order, and it must be used with regard to safety and dangers as stated in the operating manual.

• The device is designed for mounting and positioning of cab label printer of the Hermes+ Series. The manufac-turer/supplier shall not be liable for damage resulting from unauthorized use; the user shall bear the risk alone.

• Usage for the intended purpose also includes complying with the operating manual, including the manufacturer‘s maintenance recommendations and specifications

1.3 Safety Instruction

!Attention!Initiation, adjustments and changing of parts is only for qualified service personal only. Initiation/ Service Manual Applicators

• Do not use the device close to high-voltage power lines.• Perform only those actions described in this operating manual.

Work going beyond this may only be performed by trained personnel or service technicians.• Mind to a standing place with a flat and hard ground.• Do not load over the maximum load of 50 kg.• Always have service work done in a qualified workshop, where the personnel have the technical knowledge and

tools required to do the necessary work.• In case of loosening the Flanged joint, secure the printer with help of a second person.

1.5 Environment

Obsolete devices contain valuable recyclable materials that should be sent for recycling. Send to suitable collection points, separately from residual waste.

The modular construction of the print module enables it to be easily disassembled into its component parts. Send the parts for recycling.

• The floor stand is able for right and left printing and labeling systems.• Frequent adjustment of the labelling position in height and depth. Due to the rack regulation system the Hermes+ can

be positioned in X-and Y-axis to the labelling product via hand wheels.• Adjusting via setting feet.

The Bracket is a mounting element to install a label printer on a floor stand, to integrate it in a production line.

1. Schrauben (4) auf einer Seite des Bügels lösen und die Schiene (3) abnehmen.2. Schrauben (5) am Knoten (2) lockern.3. Profil (1) des Bügels wie abgebildet durch den knoten (2) führen und mittig positionieren.4. Schrauben (5) festziehen. 5. Schiene (3) ansetzen und mit den Schrauben (4) am Profil befestigen.

!Warning!Before you mount the printer, check the hard fitting of the flanged joint. Mounting only with a second Person.

1. Schrauben (2/4x) locker eindrehen, dass zwischen Schraubenkopf und Druckergehäuse ca. 7 mm Abstand besteht.

2. Drucker in die Aussparungen der Schienen (3) des Bügels einhängen.3. Schrauben (1/4x) durch die Löcher in den Schienen (3) des Bügels und dem Drucker einschrauben.4. Schrauben (1) festziehen.5. Kabelverbindungen herstellen und Kabel verlegen, wie im nächsten Kapitel beschrieben.6. Applikator montieren.

To mount the cabe and tubes in a defined rout is mounted a hinged cable guide.

1. Loosen hinged top nut (2) .2. Pull out the hinged basic nut (4) out of the mounting bracketl (3).3. Put in the cable and tubes (1) into the aperture of the bracket (3) .4. Open the top nut (2) and the basic nut (4) on the arrester..5. Put both over the cable and tubes and close.6. Put in the basic nut (4) in the hole of the bracketl (3) and tighten top nut (2) .

To print and apply the labels in the perfect direction to the product line is it possible to mount the printer and appli-cator in a lot of positional variants. So it's possible to realize every apply degree and position. in the pictures i are the basic positional variants to see.

!Warning!In case, the printer is mounted, a second person must secure the printer if the screws will be loosen.
