The logo is green, but is usually yellow, to fit with the recurring colour throughout the film. As it is a popular institution, they can change it, and people will still recognise it straight away.

This gives us a shot of lots of code. It again uses the recurring green colour which is consistent with the film. It informs the audience that the film has a theme of technology because of the code, but is simple and doesnt reveal anything else. This makes them want to watch more to find out what it is actually about.

The title of the film is displayed near the beginning of the opening sequence. The letters appear among the code, linking to technology.

Technology and the colour green are recurring and are now familiar to the audience. It is now clear that technology is important and that we should focus on it.

The camera slowly zooms in at first to a 0. It then speeds up and zooms inside of it. This grabs the audiences attention as it makes us focus with a sudden noise and speed. It also makes the audience feel as they are about to find out what it is about as we are going inside of the code, which we know is important as it is recurring

This gives us a view of a weapon, and it becomes clear to the audience that there is also a theme of violence within the film. The man becomes out of focus, letting the audience focus on the person in the background whilst making it apparent.Close up: It gives us a close up of a mans face, telling the audience that he is of some significance to the scene. It creates enigma as we dont know who they are and why they are there.

Mid shot: It becomes clear that they are the police. This creates enigma as we dont know who they are after, but tells us that they are dangerous as the police are using weapons against them.

There is a theme of danger as they are walking into darkness without knowing the danger that is there. It also has an enigma as we dont know where they are going and who is down the hallway in the darkness.

Close up: The camera pans up slowly, revealing who this person is to the audience. It makes us focus on them specifically, as they are centre, with the outside of them being blurred. The audience connect with this person as it focuses on them for an extended amount of time. We can clearly see their facial expressions and are focused on them rather than anything else. They are represented as innocent as they raise their hands.Long shot: It becomes apparent who the police are after. It creates enigma as we cannot see their face and we dont know what they are doing. The audience is focused on this person as all of the light is on them, and the rest of the room is darkness. They are also the focus as they are the only character in the shot, in the centre.
