However she concludes that it is too soon to have a love affair. She learns that her landlord has formed a frightening obsession with her.

The opening scene of scene of obsessed shows a family moving into their new home which is located in the suburbs. The scene portrays the family as a having a happy and loving bond; this is particularly seen between the husband and wife as we see them standing side to side smiling with great passion. From this we can assume that the director intended to create this pitch perfect atmosphere which gives the audience the impression that is going to be a drastic change. Furthermore in the opening the camera was positioned so that the husband was standing over his wife’s shoulder, this foreshadows the general idea that someone is obsessed and could also relate protectiveness.

The opening scene of hush focuses on the main characters disability which is that she’s deaf, this is evident as each individual sound is enhanced drastically. As a collective we thought that this was a

great film opening scene and we decided to include some similar aspects In our opening scene. Furthermore in the opening scene the women was shown distinctively cutting vegetables as the camera was slightly zoomed in. this associates with danger, blood and maybe even death. This foreshadows the main plot of the film and helps the audience to get an understanding of the character.

In the opening scene of the resident a woman is shown jogging through a park in broad daylight then suddenly shows a man bleeding out in a hospital. This scene is very intense and mysterious as the audience has no idea or insight into how this mystery person ended up in this state. During the opening scene many camera shots were used one of which was a low angle shot suggesting the character is of great power and perhaps more dominant.
