The textures have been developed for the Windows version of FGFS 1.9.1., but they should work in Linux or other versions as well. The textures were handcrafted with a graphic editor using both some images from a map server and original FG textures. Although the images originate in the Czech Republic scenery and are designed mainly for Europe, they work quite fine with other world regions as well (see the screenshots below). Installation Unzip this archive into the FlightGear main folder replacing the the original files. You can backup the original files before the installation - just copy the folders Textures.high and Textures in the Data folder anywhere you like.
