CONCEPT
The success of the event and the good receptivity of the managers made
the second edition a reality, creating a moment where disciples of open
innovation could meet and exchange experiences.
Lasting two days, the event saw the exclusive participation of Prof.Chesbrough and 46 panel members in 4 discussion panels and 6technical sections. 350 participants registered representing 156 differentinstitutions.
2009 was the official launch of the Open Innovation Center –Brazil, an initiative of Chesbrough and Brazilian companies and
institutions.
Besides maintaining the 2009 format, the Center offered an intensivecourse, with the participation of professor Chesbrough, so that those
who practice open innovation could improve their knowledge of the bestpractices and challenges and so that they could carry out increasinglysuccessful open innovation programs that made an impact.
