Malay Language Elective Programmeat Pre-University Level (MLEP-JC)

• The (MLEP) was introduced to nurture promising students to attain a high level of language proficiency in Malay and to develop academically able students to become effectively bilingual.

• MLEP-JC is offered at five Pre-U centres, namely Jurong Pioneer JC, National JC, Tampines Meridian JC, Yishun Innova JC and Raffles Institution.

Malay Language Elective Programmeat Pre-University Level (MLEP-JC) Eligibility

• In the GCE O level examination, students must obtain at least:

• Grade B3 in Higher Malay Language (HML) or • Grade B4 in HML and B3 in Literature in Malay (Full or

elective)• Grade A2 in Malay Language (ML)

• Students could gain entry to the MLEP-JC centres through JointAdmission Exercise (JAE) or Direct School Admission (DSA).Students will need to meet the entry requirement of the respectivecollege offering MLEP-JC.
