Moseley volunteers growing a cleaner, greener community
Do you want Moseley in Bloom and Open Gardens to continue? If so, we need you!
Moseley in Bloom is a registered charity run by a small group of local
volunteers. All dedicated to keeping Moseley clean and green.
We have won a Heart of England in Bloom Gold award for eight years in a row, and this year we are working with many local groups to
encourage participation in the RHS It’s Your Neighbourhood Scheme. We also work with schools and other organisations to spread the word
that Green is Good!
However, we can’t do all this without you.
If we are to continue to play our part in making Moseley the unique urban village and community it is we need your support.
Please consider volunteering with us. You don’t have to be green fingered, just keen to help.
As well as helping out at our monthly market stall and at events like
Open Gardens we currently have three open positions: • Web Technical Support, • Schools Liaison and, • Car Park Gardener
If you think you can help with any of these please get in touch for
more details.
Thank you!
Visit www.moseleyinbloom.org.uk for more information or speak to one of our volunteers today!

Become a Friend of Moseley in Bloom
Moseley in Bloom is proud to organise the annual Open Gardens Weekend, one of the highlights of the summer.
However this not all we do…
You have probably seen the attractive summer hanging baskets and planters in Moseley's public spaces, but you may not know that
Moseley in Bloom is responsible for generating all the funding to pay for them and for liaising with the award-winning Parks and Nurseries department of Birmingham City Council to install and maintain them. Likewise, the permanent plantings around the Village car park and
elsewhere in the Village are all thanks to us – our fundraising pays for the plants and our volunteers plants and maintain the beds.
We receive no public funding
For just £20 per year per household you can ensure that our work can continue and grow for the benefit of all of Moseley.
Membership also entitles you to discounts at our plant stall at the
Farmer’s Market and to Open Gardens and other fundraising events. Rest assured as a registered charity, every penny we generate goes to
support our activities.
Pick up a Friends leaflet at any of the Open Gardens or at the Farmer's Market.
