ISA ACTIVITY

HELPING THE NEEDY CAMPAIGN

This project KIDS WHO CARE has been designed to make our children

learn and develop empathetic attitude and leadership quality among

them through the inspiring stories of some renowned person who have

overcome their physical challenges and have achieved success in their

life.

The students were involved in interesting activities like HELPING THE

NEEDY CAMPAIGN – in which they visited ASHA THE HOPE to learn

about challenges faced by children with special need. They have visited

different sections of the institute and observed the types of training

given to such children as per their disability. They were amazed to see

changes in such children due to training and their creativity through a

wall of paintings. At last they have shared food packets with them. They

have displayed learning outcome through display board during PTM to

generate awareness among the people about the special people.

ASSEMBLY ACTIVITY – SAVE WATER, SAVE LIFE

Water is one of the Prime necessities of life. 70% of the world's surface

is covered by water, 97.5% of that is salt water. Only 2.5% of that is

fresh water, almost 68.7% is frozen in ice caps and glaciers. Only 1% of

the total water resources on earth is available for human use. Nearly 1

billion people, mostly in the developing world, have no access to safe

water. As large numbers of people depend upon it; Water has become a

scarce commodity. Pollution makes even the limited water unfit for use.

Looking into the severe problems students of O.P. Jindal School have

stated working upon the burning issue, and tried to spread awareness

among the students around them, regarding economic consumption of

water. Students of class VIII have planned assembly for a week and

choreographed a street play on the theme “save water save life” and

chanted the slogan “No Water No Life, No Blue No Green” Assembly

also included speech, poetry recitation and Power point presentation.

Students also took ‘water pledge’ to save water for future generations.

Students’ efforts were appreciated by respected Principal Mr.R.K

Trivedi and ISA coordinator and senior mistress Mrs. Shweta Singh.

Principal Sir addressed the gathering and suggested the students to

incorporate water saving habits in their daily routine.

It’s time to join our hands together and take effective actions regarding

saving water as much as possible.
