The wait is finally over! Welcome to the Sunshine State- the land of sun, fun, and

relaxation!

We are both so happy and feel very blessed to be able to have our wedding here

in the state where we began our journey as a couple. We are especially honored

that you have traveled here to be a part of our marriage celebration.

Many years from now when we look back upon this day, we will remember that it

was not the flowers, the music, or the food that made our day so special; it is the

memories of you² our family and friends² that we will cherish most. Having you

here for our celebration will make our wedding truly wonderful and we thank you

for sharing in one of life·s happiest occasions.

Included in this booklet is some helpful information and other materials to make

your stay more enjoyable. Please enjoy the goodies included in the box; they are

just a small token of our appreciation.

Be sure to make the most of your stay here on the Nature Coast of Florida. We

hope that the next few days will be as memorable for you as they will be for us.

We hope you enjoy this culinary tour of our hometowns. We·ve selected special

food items that are unique to the places we call ´home.µ

Jennifer grew up in Georgia and has selected honey butter biscuit mix, blueberry

and peach preserves, and Georgia peanuts to represent her home state. Wayne was born and bred here in the sunshine state and has included key lime

coolers, coconut cookies, and saltwater taffy from his home state.

We now live in Tennessee, and what better foods with which to pay respects to

our new hometown than Tennessee whiskey and MoonPies (which happen to

have their marshmallow-filled roots in the Volunteer State)?

And no winter celebration would be complete without a steaming mug of

decadent hot chocolate² made even better with the addition of snowflake

marshmallows.

We·ve also included a few other snacks, bottled water, and toiletry items to make

your stay more comfortable.

To Bride·s Parents· Home:

Take Commercial Way (US-19) North from hotel.

Travel approximately 3 miles to Glen Lakes(There is a large American flag at the entrance).

Turn left into Glen Lakes (on Glen Lakes Blvd.)

Go to the Guest Entrance and provide your name to the Security Officer.

Travel approximately 1.5 miles to Lenox Blvd. and turn left.

Turn right on Scarlett Court.

Park in the driveways marked with flags.

To Brian·s Place Restaurant:

Take Commercial Way (US-19) south from hotel.

Travel approximately 3 miles to Osowaw Ave (County Road 595). After approximately 1 mile, turn right on Shoal Line Blvd.

Brian·s Place is located at 3306 Shoal Line Blvd.

Weeki Wachee

In the Creek language, ´wekiwaµ means ´springµ and ´cheeµ means ´little.µ So

´Weeki Wacheeµ means ´little spring.µ

Chinsegut

´Chinsegutµ is an Inuit word, meaning ´the place where lost things are found.µ The

name was borrowed from the Inuit by Colonel Raymond Robins, who purchased

the property in 1904.

Homosassa

The word, ´Homosassa,µ is a Creek word meaning ´place of many pepper plants.µ

Chassahowitzka

The name, Chassahowitzka, translated from Timucan Indian means ´place of the
