LEPANTO CONFERENCE

The Lepanto Conference is an annual event organized by the Pio-Leonine Society for young Catholics under the patronage of Pope St. Pius V, who—due to his leadership, orthodoxy, and courage—was able to defend Christian civilization from devastation in the 16th century. Our mission is to impart these same marks on young Catholic men and women and encourage them to live authentically Christian lives in a post-Christian world. Welcome to the Parish of St. Vincent Ferrer and St. Catherine of Siena in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, served by the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph. The Church of St. Vincent Ferrer was built in 1918 to the designs of renowned Gothic revival architect Bertram Goodhue, who considered this his finest building. This National Historic Landmark includes a complete set of Charles Connick stained glass windows, carvings by Lee Lawrie, and two instruments by the Schantz Organ Company.

The Parish’s professional Schola Cantorum sings every Sunday at the 12:00 Noon Solemn Mass at St. Vincent Ferrer as well as for numerous weekday feasts.
