IntroductionToday's ScenarioWe are following a traditional Pen-Paper Examination format. The assessment of Knowledge and Skills is done traditionally. Though ,It is very difficult to analyze and assess ones knowledge and skills manually.Assessment is really a bleary task to pursuit, because the person who checks the answer sheets gets tired and exhausted.As a result of which his accuracy and efficiency gets affected.So from that instance, the answer is correct or not doesn't really matter.Priority is given to quantity rather than quality.

Literature Survey In present scenario most of the recruitment process is based on test process. Existing system is a manual one in which users are maintaining various records to store the information like Examiner Details, Instructor Details, Schedule Details and feedbacks about exams who attempted exam as per schedule.It is also very difficult to maintain historical data. The primary problem is regarding loads of hard copied documents being generated.

Problem Domain Keeping the information in the form of hard-copied documents leads to the following problems:Lack of space It becomes a problem in itself to find space to keep the sheets of paper being generated as a result of the ongoing discussion. The documents being generated are too important to be ill-treated.Filing poses a problem Filing the documents categorically is a time consuming and tedious exercise.

Problem Domain(Cont...)Reviewing becomes time-consuming The maintenance of the record is very difficult in the departments and as well as its very difficult for the workers to check the record. The Existing system is paper based, time consuming, monotonous, less flexible and provides a very hectic working schedule. The chance of loss of records is high and also record searching is difficult. Maintenance of the system is also very difficult and takes lot of time.Filtering is not easy It becomes hard to filter relevant documents for the irrelevant ones if the count of the same crosses a certain manageable number.Result Processing is slow due to paper work and requirement of staff.

Proposed SystemOnline examinations are conducted through the Internet or in an Intranet(if within the Organization) to test a remote candidate .More number of candidates/aspirants will be able to take part in the examinations. The examiner will evaluate answers, either through automated process or manually and the results will be sent to the candidate through email or made available in the web site.The System emphasizes on a better assessment and reducing costs associated with conducting exams over a period of time and achieving total automation of examination system-related tasks like registration, publication of results, which leads to a very high degree of system efficiency.

This application is used to conduct online examination. The students can sit at individual terminals and login to write the exam in the given duration. The questions have to be given to the students. This application will perform correction, display the result immediately and also store it in database. This application takes care of authentication of the administrator, Instructor as well as the student. The objective of the Online Examination Tool is to provide better information for the users of this system for better results for their maintenance in student examination schedule details and grading details.The system suits the need of Educational Institutions, Primary and Secondary Schools, Colleges, Professional and Vocational Institutes, Universities or Training Academies.
