Online marketing sites have changed the way Indians buy, Be it a book or a mobile phone

When I told my dad about online shopping for the first time,

He hesitated,

He told me they could fool me by giving a bad product.

Now, After a couple of buys, He trusts Online reviews

With Online reviews, The Brand name is Often Disappearing.

Travel :

My personal experience : I once booked a bus ticket with redBus I went for the lowest fare.

I had to miss a meeting , as bus ran late

Next day, I got a mail from RedBus asking for a review.

I gave them 2 stars And checked their previous ratings, Poor ratings. No surprise, the bus ran late.

Oh Boy, Online reviews are indeed Handy.

Food:

Zomato offers reviews about eateries. It helps people find a good place to eat when they travel by having a bunch of Expert’s and User generated Reviews.

Movie reviews:

But, Most of the time, it doesn’t matter.

Our HERO’s always tops Box office.

Tech Reviews :

Newbie’s like XIAOMI, One plus and ASUS have benefited a lot because of Online reviews.

This reviewing Trend has Created new Need among people

Online Reviewing sites

I see some pocket money in there ;)

Thus, Online reviews help in Communicating value to the Customers,

As a result of this, It’s easy for a Company to get in to industries that depend upon reviews.

Success will come to companies that can closely track the sources of information their Customers turn to

and find the combination of marketing channels and tools best suited to the ways those Consumers decide.
