This highly interactive seminar will help you develop the
practical tools to improve cross-cultural business
communication and increase sales as a result. It will
demonstrate how to tackle language and cultural barriers,
highlighting differences in cultures from which potential
misunderstandings can arise, as well as illustrating the
importance of creating an appropriate first impression either
in person or via communications.
Delegates will have the opportunity to measure their
reactions against a number of specific scenarios andobserve how their mindset changes as they move from
a mono-cultural mindset (behaviour based on ones own
cultural education filters) to a multi-cultural mindset.
The event will aim to:

How much does it cost?
Thanks to funding under the
Convergence Programme, these
events are FREE of charge to
small and medium-sized businessesin Cornwall. Applicants are required
to enclose a cheque for 100 for each
attendee on each seminar. The cheque
will not be cashed except in the case
of failure to attend. Upon attendance,
the cheque will be returned to you.
