• Your child need not ask the teacher to repeat. Any part of the lesson may be easily repeated on the portal.

• The lessons are delivered in a fun, engaging manner using animation, activities and mini-quizzes.

• Your child will also use collaborative tools pose questions to their teachers and fellow students, and share their acquired knowledge.

The Learning Channels has various tutorials and activities/quizzes for the core subjects, such as : • English • Maths • Mother Tongue

English Oral Buddy – Reading Passages

Students start by listening to the narration and learn how to

pronounce the words.

The students can highlight a phrase or

word to get the narrator to repeat if

they are not sure of the pronunciation.



Students will begin learning by recording their own voice and

narrating the story.

The students can record their narration

of the story by clicking on the

microphone icon, then clicking on the

headphone icon to play it back.



Once students have gained the confidence to pronounce

correctly and narrate fluently, they can begin narrating the whole

story and recording it.

The students can record their

narration, stop and then playback their

recording using the menu items here.


English Oral Buddy – Picture Discussion

Students look at the picture and try to describe the situation in

as much detail.



Helpful prompts and helpful words are

provided to focus the student’s

attention to specific places, people or

objects in the picture being discussed.
