ONLINE ENROLMENT – SCREEN GUIDE Following your successful application to Peterborough you will be sent a link to complete an online enrolment which will confirm your place for study in September 2020. Please note these links are being sent in batches. All links should have been sent to students by Friday 28th August. If you have not received a link by this date please email mis@peterborough.ac.uk or phone 01733 762134. Phones will be answered from 9:00 to 4:30. To complete your enrolment online you should allow 20 to 30 minutes. Please note the system will time out after 1 hour. This guide shows you the screens that you will be asked to complete. Please take some time to read this document as this will help you to complete the online form. Fields will be shown with a red box around to show what needs completing/checking. Try and find a quiet place to do this to ensure there are no distractions and that you can focus on accurately recording your information. The process will be quicker if you have the following information ready before you start:

A photo – this will be used for your student ID badge. Guidance on appropriate types of photos is shown in this document, and on the enrolment screen. Please ensure the file size is not greater than 4MB.

Your personal details

Emergency contact details – We require 2 emergency contacts with phone and email.

Details of your qualifications – subjects and grades. ** If you are still awaiting your results due to delays in results being published then please add the qualification with grade OTH.

1 form of ID as a scanned/photo that can be uploaded as a file.

If you are entitled to fee remission as you are on a recognised benefit we will need your National Insurance Number

HOME - Loaded by clicking on the link in the email that you receive. Check it is the course you are expecting and click ENROL NOW. The course fee is shown on this page. You may be entitled to fee remission which means you do not have to pay this. If you are aged 16 to 18 and enrolling on a full time course you will not have to pay these fees unless you do not have residency status. FURTHER DETAILS Additional details are entered on this page. This helps us to ensure you are eligible for funding in terms of your residency status. Please answer all questions honestly and contact Peterborough College should you have any questions.

FURTHER DETAILS (continued) Please let us know about any disabilites or learning difficulties you may have. Please identify on this page if you an Education Health & Care Plan (EHCP). This information will ensure that we provide sufficient support for you during your time at Peterborough College. Any additional information should be included in the notes section.

If you will be driving to college and require a carpark permit please complete details. A car park permit will be ready for you when you start at college. On the next screen you will be asked for your actual grade. If you are under 19 and have not achieved a grade 4 or above in English or Maths we will assess your level and ensure you continue your English and maths studies whilst you are studying at Peterborough College. Please let us know which school you attended and let us know if you are still at school. Once you have completed this page, please click NEXT.”

QUALIFICATIONS ON ENTRY Please complete with the qualifications that you have achieved so far, or are awaiting results for. Some of the more popular qualifications are in the drop down list, if you can’t see a qualification that you have achieved please add it in the subject box, together with the grade that you achieved. If you do not have any qualification please click ‘No prior qualifications’. Once complete please click NEXT.

FEES AND PAYMENTS/ATTACHMENTS If you are liable for course fees then please identify on this page how you will be paying. If you want to pay by instalments please contact our finance department to arrange (finance@peterborough.ac.uk). Please note certain rules apply. If your employer is paying then please upload an authorisation letter or purchase order at the bottom of this page. If you are paying by loan please upload a copy of your loan confirmation on the following page. If your loan hasn’t yet been approved, or you have not applied we will request that you complete a direct debit form.

FEES AND PAYMENTS/ATTACHMENTS (continued) Please upload 1 form of ID on this page. This is required to obtain a Unique Learner Number for you and to verify that we have your details correct. This is quite often a passport, birth certificate, driving license, previous exam certificate or results slip. Ideally this is a form of photo ID – but we appreciate that not everyone has this. If you have completed visa details – please upload a copy here. Attach your file by clicking on choose file and uploading it. Once complete please click on NEXT.

DECLARATION Please read the declaration and confirm how you would prefer us to stay in touch with you (Contact Preferences).

DECLARATION continued Please select your fee type in the drop down. If you are aged 16 to 18, or 19 to 24 with an EHCP you should select his option.

If you are due to pay the full fee please select the ‘Full fee’. Even if you are paying by a loan or your Employer is paying then you should select this option. If you are claiming fee remission as you are on a recognised benefit please add your National Insurance Number. You will then need to click to confirm you have read and agree to the declarations above and add a signature. You can do this with your mouse, or if using a mobile device your finger.
