Who’s in charge of your supply chain?
We know the pilot is in charge of an airplane, but only
after many hours in a flight simulator.
“You don’t just jump into a fighter jet to tear around
the sky before making a spectacular crash
landing.” – Timon Martin, Flight Simulation Guru
Put your team into a business simulation!Gain an intense understanding of complex relationships, sharpen your skills, tear down functional
silos, and learn what does not work – without crashing your business.
“Those who learn through simulation have an advantage over those who make decisions without a
sound frame of reference and then hope for the best.” – Mike Loughrin, Business Simulation Guru

The Supply Chain
Shelf life
• You need to promise the customer a certain standard of freshness – how much
shelf life remains when they recieve a shipment.
• For example, if the shelf life agreement to customer is 75%, then the internal
shelf life becomes 25%.
• In other words, the customer is promised a remaining shelf life of 15 weeks at
the moment of delivery.
• Thus, any inventory older than 5 weeks may not be shipped and needs to be
scrapped.
Shelf life after packaging is 20 weeks
