OneSource Pilot Complete

• Implemented SAP EC 3.0 and SuPM 3.0 (ramp-up)

• Introduced NetWeaver, SAP portal and other “new” technologies into Mosaic’s application support structure.

• Challenges with data loading into EC

– Introduced Informatica Data Quality toolset for historical/transactional data loading

– Ended up building a team of nine consultants to parse permits and organize transactional data into

templates for upload

• Challenges with so many reports and complexity of reports

• Partnership with SAP Consulting for successful implementation

– SAP provided excellent functional consultants and project management resources

• Select your implementation partner carefully – suggest a conference room pilot to test knowledge and estimates before proceeding.

• Ensure you have considered the volume and the resources to evaluate and load historical/transactional data that has been collected for compliance purposes.

• Ensure a thorough process evaluation and use the opportunity to encourage standardization.

• Don’t skimp on change management efforts! This tool and processes are changing the way EHS professionals work and how the data is used in our company. It effects many more then just the 200+ end users that have fingers on the keys.

• Facilitate governance! Ensure your senior leaders understand the importance of these types of efforts.
