Main Objectives of the “OneDay” for ALAC:

•To provide ALL ALAC members with the opportunity to get to know each other better;

•To familiarize all members, especially the new ones, with the main ALAC goals/objectives and outcomes/outputs;

•To involve all members in reviewing current ALAC developments, position and further developments and planning via the SWOT Analysis Method.

OBJECTIVES … Main Objectives of the “OneDay” for ALAC:

• To involve all ALAC/AtLarge and RALOs Secretariats in reviewing our new work flow practices as well as current ALAC Working Groups developments;

• To plan the activities for the 2008 per each current Working Group.

Main “OneDay” for ALAC outcomes:

• All ALAC Working Groups have an Action Plan for 2008; • To commit to the agreed policy development processes in

LA meeting and explore ways that greater RALO, ALS and Public participation in these can be encouraged.

Main results … •8 hours of intensive work

•4 main Sessions organized

•5 Presentations from EURALO, AFRALO, NARALO, LACRALO and APRALO

•7 Presentations from Working Groups: Domain Tasting, Whois, IDNs, RAA, IPv4v6, ALAC Organizational Development, ALSs Summit; • 3 Working groups worked on identifying vs. clarifying goals/objectives/ Action Plan of each WG;

• 3 Presentations of the results from 3 WGs;

•1 Presentation of Kieren McCarthy regarding Public Participation tools and objectives of ICANN and how these can be used;

• 5 steps forward identified immediately after the meeting …

Steps forward after New Delhi phase of OneDay…

• Feedback Questionnaires sent to OneDay participants on Monday February 11

• Feedback from OneDay participants is expected by the end of ICANN meeting in New Delhi – February 15;

• Report on OneDay will be posted on wiki on February 20;

• WGs will finalize their Action Plans started during OneDay by February 25

• All the outcomes will be posted on At Large wiki by February 29
