Supporting One Voice Community Center means making a difference for the Valley’s

GBLTQ community.

Implementing programs to reach the unmet needs for a diverse and uniquely progressive demographic

requires a collective effort. Our center is committed to connecting leaders in the public and private sectors along with talented volunteers to facilitate essential

programs that pave the road to healthy living practices.  

As the epicenter to the organizations that reach out in support of the hundreds of thousands of GBLTQ

residents, One Voice facilitates meeting space and hosts many discussion groups. Benefiting from our

recent expansion of space, services to the community now include a business center, a community cyber

center, as well as expanded access to the anti-violence hotline and resources.

One Voice Community Center (1VCC), is a GBLTQ (Gay, Bisexual, Lesbian, Transgender, Queer/Questioning) organization established in 2006, in the metro phoenix area. It's mission is to create a strong community of GBLTQ individuals that can live without fear, shame or isolation.  On November 19th, 2011, One Voice will host the All That Glitters Gala Benefit at the Embassy Suites North.  This Gala will serve as the organization's main fundraising event, and will be sponsored by well-established organizations such as.... Highlights of this event includes: a fashion runway show, musical performances, guest appearances, as well as a silent auction.

Funds generated from the All That Glitters Gala Benefit will support vital social, educational, and wellness programs at the Community Center. In addition to serving GLBTQ individuals, One Voice Community Center serves as a cultural liaison, collaborating with other GBLTQ organization. In order to continue supporting GLBTQ individual empowerment and community visibility/advocacy, the center strives to continue developing coalitions that can more effectively research, educate, outreach, event plan, fund raise, and more.
