If you'd like to have a sing yourself, join us for our Come and Sing event on 5th October, or get in touch with a Festival choir via www.lhmf.org.uk. This year's main Festival runs from the 11th to 13th April. During the morning on each day the choirs compete against each other and in the afternoon they rehearse with the Conductor and the orchestra, Southern Pro Musica. Entry to this part of the day is by programme (£3). In the evening there are three fabulous concerts. Join us on April 11th for Mass in Bb by Hummel and William Godfree’s Requiem. On the second night we will be performing Alan Bullard’s Travelling Tales and Carmina Burana by Orff. We conclude the Festival on Saturday 13th with Magnificat by J S Bach and The Creation, Parts 1 & 2 by Haydn.
