DISCUSSION GUIDE
1. What is the situation Paul continues to address in Gal. 2:17-18?
That Peter or any Christian should not try to live under the Law but under grace. Salvation by faith in Christ saves man from the burden of the Law.

2. How could the doctrine of grace lead to a license to sin?
Some people may think that because they have forgiveness of sin, then they can sin at will. Paul speaks against this concept.

3. How do people try to mix Law and grace?
They continue to be legalistic even though they have experienced the grace of God in their own lives. They judge other people legalistically.

4. What did Paul mean in (v.19) when he said, “For through the Law I died to the Law . . .”?
That the Law’s demand of death was satisfied in the death of Christ.

5. Why is a Christian not free to sin even though he/she is not under the Law?
Because a Christian should be dead to his old way of life. Sinful desires should be replaced with the motive to live for God.

“CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST”
1. Because a Christian should be dead to his old way of life. Sinful desires should be replaced with the motive to live for God.
2. How am I different?
3. In which areas of my life do I need to die to self?
4. What is one action step I can take immediately to die to self in the above categories?
![Page 14: “One day we’re all going to die, and God is going to judge us (our) good and bad deeds. If the bad outweighs the bad, you go to hell. If the good outweighs.](https://reader036.fdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022082817/56649dd15503460f94ac6d90/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST
As I look back on what I thought was living I'm amazed at the price
I choose to pay And to think I ignored what really mattered Cause I
thought the sacrifice would be too great But when I
finally reached the point of giving in I found the cross was calling even then And even though it took dying
to survive I've never felt so much alive.
![Page 15: “One day we’re all going to die, and God is going to judge us (our) good and bad deeds. If the bad outweighs the bad, you go to hell. If the good outweighs.](https://reader036.fdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022082817/56649dd15503460f94ac6d90/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
For I am crucified with Christ and yet I live
Not I but Christ that lives within me His Cross will never ask for more than I can give For its not my strength but His
There's no greater sacrifice For I am crucified with Christ and
yet I live
![Page 16: “One day we’re all going to die, and God is going to judge us (our) good and bad deeds. If the bad outweighs the bad, you go to hell. If the good outweighs.](https://reader036.fdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022082817/56649dd15503460f94ac6d90/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)
As I hear the Savior call for daily dying I will bow beneath the weight of Calvary Let my hands surrender to His piercing
purpose That holds on to the cross but sets me
free I will glory in the power of the cross The things I thought were gain I count as loss
And with His suffering I identify And by His
resurrection power I am alive
![Page 17: “One day we’re all going to die, and God is going to judge us (our) good and bad deeds. If the bad outweighs the bad, you go to hell. If the good outweighs.](https://reader036.fdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022082817/56649dd15503460f94ac6d90/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
And I will offer all I have So that His cross is not in vain
For I found to live is Christ And to
die is truly gain
