We have been having some mighty fine Tech Team
(Sound & Video) coverage of songs, announce-
ments, listening guide verses and videos in the sanctuary lately with a lot
of preparation, organization and dedication of several people. Kudos to
all the individuals who participate in this mission to make your Sunday
AM service the best it can be for you.
Special Thanks to Steve Moore, Chairman of this
committee.

CENTENNIAL BAPTIST CHURCH CONTACT
MAY 2016
The weekend of April 1-2nd the youth took a trip to the St. Louis stop of the 2016 Dare2Share
Conference. Two leaders, myself and Rachal Myers, chaperoned three students (Becca and Rachel
Kristofferson and Morgan Hall). At the conference Zane Black and Greg Stier brought a number
of messages about “Living it up” for God which means to live lives which honor God, make us
more like Jesus, and shares his love with both urgency and authenticity. The band “The Digital
Age” led in musical worship for the event. Friday night we had two sessions before leaving the
Family Arena to sleep for the night before returning early the next morning. Saturday morning
kicked off with me (Eric) going to a youth leader’s session. Afterward came lunch and the out-
reach time where we went out across St. Charles and St. Louis sharing the message of the Gospel
to the people we met. The last session came after the outreach time ended and during it we had
one of the most meaningful experiences of the weekend.
The students and the leaders, had all torn out a piece of the guides earlier in the day and written a
word on it that represented sin we struggle with and were instructed to then tear them up. Greg
then prayed and upon finishing his prayer the leaders stood up and traveling from student to stu-
dent in our group spoke to them that they were forgiven because of what Jesus did for them, we
then collected the shards of the paper from the students and dumped them in a bucket, the buckets
were then dumped in a larger bucket so it was all mixed together. The large bucket was finally
dumped at the base of a cross that had been brought on the stage and wiped in red paint to repre-
sent Jesus’ blood. Ending with one last worship song the students, leaders everyone was drawn on
with special crayons which glow in the dark to remind us to light up the world for Jesus and when
the song ended we were released to go home.

If you never feel pain...then how would you know that I’m a HEALER?
If you never went through anything, how would you know that I’m a DELIVERER?
If you never had a trial, how could you call yourself an OVERCOMER?
If you never felt sadness, how would you know that I’m a COMFORTER?
If you never made a mistake, how would you know that I’m FORGIVING?
If you knew all, how would you know that I will ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS?
I If you never were in trouble, how would you know that I will COME TO YOUR RESCUE?
If you were never broken, then how would you know that I can MAKE YOU WHOLE?
If you never had a problem, how would you know that I can SOLVE THEM?
If you never had any suffering, how would you know WHAT I WENT THROUGH?
If you never went through fire, how would you become PURE?
If I gave you all things, how would you APPRECIATE THEM?
If I never corrected you, how would you know that I LOVE YOU?
If you had all power, how would you learn to DEPEND ON ME?
If your life were perfect, what WOULD YOU NEED ME FOR?
