CONDITIONS OF SALE1. This sale is conducted under the conditions of sale prepared by The Livestock Auctioneers Association (October 2018), together with the following special conditions. Copies of which are available at the Auctioneers pay office. 2. The highest bidder to be the Purchaser (but the Auctioneers reserve the right of refusing any bid) and if any dispute arises at the last bid, the Lot to be put up again or the Auctioneers may name the purchaser.3. Turn left onto the A5 for 4 miles before turning left to Long Buckby. Please be aware of the 3.7m height restricted bridge. The farm is on the right-hand side after one mile. ‘To The Sale’ Signs will be erected on the morning of the sale. SALE ORDERThe Sale will commence at 10.30am with the cattle. At 11.45am the Auctioneer will sell Agricultural Requisites, Rural Bygones, Arable, Grassland Livestock Equipment. SALE NOTES

The sale is on the instructions of David & Elizabeth Fountain, who along with giving up arable farming, are selling the complete herd of suckler cows and store cattle. Elizabeth Fountain is the third generation of her family to have farmed at Elm Lodge over the last 100 years.

All the previous progeny from the suckler herd have been sold as yearling stores at both Rugby and Melton Mowbray Cattle Markets often topping the market.

All the machinery has been used on the medium sized mixed farm.

TB STATUS: The farm is situated within Northamptonshire, which now has a six-monthly TB testing interval. The last clear herd TB test was on 15th March 2021.

The cattle have been regularly wormed and the Store Cattle tested negative for BVD on 15th March 2021.
