Research (RallyFoundation.org) to organize a month-long event to raise awareness and funds for

childhood cancer research.

I would like to ask for your support for the inaugural Rally One Month March: Defeating Childhood

Cancer One Step at a Time, which will take place the entire month of September, culminating

with a 5K run/walk on Sunday October 9, 2011 in Shelby Park in Nashville, TN.

Every school day, 46 children are diagnosed with cancer, and most will spend the next three

years in treatment. Rally Foundation, a 501(c)(3) national non-profit, is dedicated to raising

awareness and funds to support research on childhood cancer, the #1 disease killer of children

ages 0-19. Your participation in this event will go a long way in helping to find a cure for this

terrible disease.

With September being designated as Pediatric Cancer Awareness month, our plan is to have the

event stretch from September 1 to September 30, with participants fundraising per mile they

run/walk throughout the month. The event culminates on Sunday, October 9, with a 5K for

participants to come together and show their support.
