Introduction Discussion The research question of the journal found is whether antibiotics help the children less than 2 years of age with Acute Otitis Media. The research was concerning the impact of the process. The hypothesis of the journal was also well stated; the treatment with amoxicillin– clavulanate reduces the time to resolution of symptoms and reduced the overall symptom burden. The study type of the journal is cross sectional study and this is an appropriate type of study for the research conducted. It is appropriate as the research aim was to assess the prevalence of the acute conditions, and to answer questions about the results of medical intervention. The outcome factors result in; among the children who received amoxicillin–clavulanate, 35% had initial resolu- tion of symptoms by day 2, 61% by day 4, and 80% by day 7; among children who received placebo, 28% had initial resolution of symptoms by day 2, 54% by day 4, and 74% by day 7. The primary outcome measures were the time to resolution of symptoms and the symptom burden over time. So the result shows us that amoxicillin–clavulanate treatment towards children with Acute Otitis Media is more effective than placebo treatment. There are no measurement errors found in the journal, all observations are presented followed by facts and research outcomes. Conclusion
