ISO CERTIFICATION
OMS received ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 Certification from UKAS International Management and Det NORSKE Veritas (DNV) in January 2009. The Board and leadership of OMS realized that having been in operations for 5 years, it was time to take a step further and assess whether the company’s health, safety and environmental system was commensurate with the aspirations of our stakeholders and whether it would stand the test of meeting international standards. The journey achieved a key benchmark with the award of the ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certificate by the UKAS
International Management and Det NORSKE Veritas (DNV) on January 22, 2009. Hence crossing an important milestone and adopting the Integrated Management System (IMS) within OMS. The journey for excellence shall, however,
continue as the Company is required to not only maintain its impeccable health and safety standards but also to improve them
within the spirit of continual improvement enshrined in the ISO standards. The certification has strengthened the management structure of the Company that has enhanced the achievement of the Company’s corporate objectives.

OMS HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
The most important aspect of our business is Safety. Whatever we do at OMS every day, every moment, we strive to work in a safe manner without compromising safety for expediency. It is the policy of OMS to set high standards of health & safety prior to commercial again. The objective of this OMS's policy is to promote Good Health and an elevated level of Safety. At OMS, we will firmly adhere to the Safety Policy to protect ourselves, our customer, the environment, and the community in which we do business. We believe that excellence in the management of health and safety is an essential element within our overall business plan. The identification, assessment and control of health and safety risks are of equal importance to production and quality. As a basic requirement, all of the OMS personnel will learn and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Safety Rules. This is the responsibility of all OMS people to ensure that all contractors, who carry out any activities on site, fully understand and follow the safety policies and procedures. In OMS, we expect each OMS person to be flexible and attempt to do
"Whatever it takes" to be productive and innovative. However, this is not true when it comes to Safety. Our avowed policy at OMS is to remain committed to health, safety, environment and quality prior to commercial gain. People are
the greatest assets that we possess and are possessed with. We yearn to make the difference real by providing quality services from design review, construction management and operation and maintenance besides multitudes of other related jobs in the power sector.
We believe that any job done at the cost of safety is a bad job, no matter how quick, efficient or financially advantageous it may be. When it is difficult to perform a job in a safe manner or a job falls outside our written and approved procedures contained in our Occupational Health & Safety Manual, we make all the efforts and abilities at our command to seek a safe way that can be adopted and implemented.

to the Sponsors’
OWNER’S ENGINEER SERVICES A SUCCESSFUL APPROACH
In today’s turbulent and competitive market, all industries face a major challenge to reduce their cost of production. Electric power being one of the most expensive and a critical factor in their production process, enormous emphasis is placed on ensuring the maximum availability and reduction in the cost of generation. The modern and most efficient and effective approach to face this challenge is to outsource the operation and maintenance of the power plant to a professional and reputable company. OMS has gone one-step ahead to accomplish this objective by providing services during the construction of the project while offering its services for the operation and maintenance during operations.
The Sponsor(s) i.e. the Owner(s), of the power project does not have to reinvent the wheel of taking the responsibility of monitoring the construction and commissioning activities by employing new people rather than passing on the responsibility to a professional group involved in the project from the word go.
OMS provides comprehensive Owner's Engineer and advisory services for power projects. Every Project is unique in the complex, competitive marketplace in terms of technology, economics, regulation, environment, politics, contracts, and business. We have the technical expertise and industry experience to advise and address the strategic planning, design, engineering, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and management phases of high-tech power projects.
OMS is focused on project’s success that is the success of the Sponsors/Owners of the project. We clearly communicate the best options available to optimize the performance of the plant or project. We strive to deliver the most technically sound and financially successful project possible to our clients. We also offer complete, proven solutions and project oversight from conceptual phases through start-up, into operations, and beyond.
