OLYMPICS RING

The five Olympic rings represent the five continents and were designed in 1913, adopted in 1914 and debuted at the Games at Antwerp, 1920.

This was originally designed by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympic Games. These five rings stand for passion, faith, victory, work ethic, and sportsmanship.

DOG COBI. BARCELONA ‘92

Cobi dog was the official mascotof the 1992 Summer Olympics inBarcelona. Cobi was designedby Javier Mariscal (1950-). Themascot was unveiled to thepublic in 1987. His name wasderived from the BarcelonaOlympic Organising Committee(COOB).

Before and during the Games,Cobi was shown in a variety ofadvertisements for Olympicsponsors such as Coca-Cola,Brother Industries and Danone.
