Dear Parishioners and Friends of Holy Angels,
Christ is risen, indeed, He is truly risen! Alleluia! Alleluia!
I hope that whatever went on in your spiritual life in Lent, with the last of the Sacred Triduum and the triumph of Easter, that you will know, by renewing our baptismal promises as each of us does at the Vigil and Easter Masses, that we should be renewed in spirit and exultant in having the spring-time of our souls refreshed in the Easter mysteries we celebrate with great commemoration only start-ing this weekend and going for fifty full days. The beautiful chants and antiphons of the Church ring out pealing the “alleluias” freely and repeatedly.
May the Apostles who abandoned Christ at the Cross be witnesses for us of the life-altering reality of the Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior, the Son of God, who gives us the promise of the fullness of life with Him forever. For those who have been effected by suffering and death, sorrow and misery, the Resurrection promise gives each of us the joyful hope springing eternal that the story of Jesus triumphs over all sadness and plants in us for all time the knowledge and wisdom that the Love of God is at the end of time the last word for all those who have been faithful.
May we live that Easter hope out in our lives—not only in the 50 days of Easter—but until we meet Him Who is “I Am.”
Regina coeli, laetare Alleluia! Queen of heaven, rejoice, Alleluia!
Quia quem meruisti portare, Alleluia! For He Whom you merited to bear, Alleluia!
Resurrexit sicut dixit, Alleluia! Has risen as He said, Alleluia!
Ora pro nobis Deum, Alleluia! Pray for us to God, Alleluia!
Gaude et laetare, Virgo Maria, Alleluia! Rejoice and be glad, Virgin Mary, A!
Quia surrexit Dominus vere, Alleluia! For the Lord has truly risen, Alleluia!
Prayerful Easter greetings,

ARCHBISHOP’S CALL TO SHARE
Dear Fr. Richard,
Recently I reviewed the performance of this year’s Archbishop’s Call to Share. I under-stand that the parishioners of Holy Angels have pledged $61,295.00, which is 123% of you goal. I appreciate your efforts ad the commitment of your parish to the Catholic Church of Northeast Kansas. Without your support we would not achieve the level of success we have experienced.
Please convey my appreciation to your pa-rishioners for their support of the ministries made possible through the Archbishop’s Call to Share. The gifts that you and your parishioners have offered will truly bring the healing presence and the joy of our Catholic faith to Northeast Kansas in the name of the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ.
The ACTS is vital to the life of our archdi-ocese. Father, through your leadership, your parish has generously responded to my request. Thank you for this special effort and for all the important pastoral work you do each day.
Sincerely yours in Jesus, the Lord of Life,
Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann

Our Lady Queen of the Angels Adoration Chapel Jesus remains with us; spend an hour with Him
Think of Easter as the greatest Sunday – the Sunday of the Resurrection. We celebrate the Paschal Mystery of Jesus’ death and Resurrec-tion. In dying, he conquered sin; in rising, he opened the door to new life for us and paved the way for our salvation.
The Catholic Catechism teaches that the Resur-rection signifies the fulfillment of the promises of the Old Testament and of Jesus himself during His earthly life. It confirms Jesus’ divinity. It re-instates us in God’s grace.
After He rises from the dead, the glorified Christ continues to appear to the Apostles and His fol-lowers. He is still teaching them; He is reassuring them. He wants them – and us – to be at peace, to know that He will remain with us always until the end of time (Mt 28:20).
True to His promise, Jesus remains with us still today – in the Holy Spirit, in the Church, in one another, and in a very special way in the Holy Eucharist. With Eucharistic Adoration, we have the opportunity to be in the presence of the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament and to deepen our rela-tionship with Jesus. As an Easter gift this year, give yourself and Our Lord the gift of one hour of your time by signing up for an hour of Eucharis-tic Adoration. The peace of Christ be with you. Happy Easter.
FOOD KITCHEN: This Tues., April 3rd, is our turn at the Food Kitchen. Please consider fixing a casserole to help those less fortunate. Pans are available in the narthex. Please have
