********ABOUT********

The concept behind CTF4 is simple: Capture the Flag, but with 4 teams instead of2. Why would4 teams be better than 2 you ask? Simple: More action, more choices, more strategy.

With four teams the objective becomes more than just attacking the enemy flag and defendingyour own. You must think carefully about which team to attack. Because other teams can getpoints without ever attacking your base (they can attack the other teams instead) - it becomesimportant to watch what all the teams are doing. Just because you have a strong

defense doesnot mean you will win!

CTF4 also comes with TDM4, which is Team Deathmatch with up to 4 teams.

There are two different versions of CTF4 available to download: UT4MOD and Manual Install.Please refer to the section below that refers to the version you downloaded:

UT4MOD------To install the UT4MOD version of CTF4, simply double click the .ut4mod file andthe UMODinstaller will do the rest. If you have problems installing ut4mod files, try this helpfulpage:http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/wiki/UMOD/Problems

MANUAL INSTALL--------------To install the "Manual Install" version, simply extract the archive into your UT2004 directory.It will place all the files in the appropriate locations.

*******************PLAYING THE GAME*******************

Simply fire up UT2004, go to Instant Action or Host Game, and select "CTF4" foryour gametype.For more detailed information on the different scoring options and how to read the HUD, visitthe CTF4 webpage at:http://CTF4.apartment167.com

*******************DEDICATED SERVER*******************

To run a CTF4 dedicated server, add ?Game=OLTeamGames.OLCTFGame to the commandline of your server.

To run a TDM4 dedicated server, add ?Game=OLTeamGames.OLTeamDeathmatch to the commandline of yourserver. If you would like to only have 3 teams in your server, add ?NumTeams=3to your commandline.
