• They used their central location to reach in to Mexico and Central America.

• The Maya, like many others, traded in seagoing canoes paddled along the coast, to the present-day United States.

• The eat mainly corn, squash, beans, and peanuts.

• The Moche engineers built huge pyramids and traded in the Amazon River.

• The Moche civilization was replaced by a new civilization called the Inca.
