1 1/4” finishing nails If your wall is faced with plywood tiles may be attached to stud wall using 1/14” finishing nails. Apply nails to outer edges at an angle into MDF taking care not to mar front finish.

AdhesiveFor a more secure grip apply adhesive between MDF and sub-strate. Tiles may also be attached to drywall that has not been painted using construction adhesive and nails applied in the same way as above (in this case, nail secures tile so adhesive can dry).

ScrewsTiles may be attached to plywood backing using screws or nails and hung from wall using brackets or cleat. Alternatively, tiles can be attached to plywood backing using screws or nails and hung from wall using brackets or cleat.

Trim & Outside edges (pictured above)Exposed outside edges may be trimmed with finished pieces of various lengths provided with your order at no additional charge. Trim should be glued and nailed into place.

General notesTiles are backed with 1/2” MDF. Bottom row of tiles should rest on secure level surface or blocking anchored to wall. Blocking may be removed after installation. Shimming may be necessary to compensate for long uneven surface.
