AERIAL PERSPECTIVE
Welcome to Greenland Metropolis: The premier place to live and stay in downtown Los Angeles!
Metropolis is located conveniently between the central business district and the LA Live entertain-ment district, freeway adjacent with excellent car, pedestrian and public transport connectivity.
At over six acres in scale and over 2.5 Million square feet, Metropolis will be built in two-phases comprising four distinctive towers ascending in height on top of a retail, amenity and parking podium.
The podium will be very pedestrian friendly and will play a key role in realizing the Avenue of An-gels master plan concept that will link LA Live to the Wilshire Grand along Francisco St.
Ascending from the street level, visitors will arrive at the upper podium restaurant and retail destina-tions fronted by a large, open landscaped plaza. Just above are the private amenities and exterior spaces of the towers.
The first tower, at the corner of Francisco St and James Woods Blvd is a 400 Key hotel occupying a prominent view from the freeway access ramp and an axial view from LA Live. This tower has tremen-dous potential for visibility and sign/advertising revenue.
Three residential towers ascend moving eastward on the site. Each tower is like a sculpted mono-lith of jadeite; polished on some sides and tooled on other sides. The towers change shape as they ascend to optimize views and conform to context and orientation. The resulting collection of towers forms a distinctive landmark gracefully set apart from the rest of the LA skyline.

12th & Grand is “The Link” between South Broadway and L.A. LIVE, two very different neighborhoods with diverse daily and nightly populations. South Broadway, from 7th street to 12th street, is transforming into Downtown’s version of Soho. Hip boutique hotels, historic residential bldgs., creative office tenants and avant garde retailers are flocking to this neighborhood. In comparison, the neighborhood
“Times Square West” surround L.A. LIVE/Staples Center/Convention Center draws millions of destination visitors and shoppers per year.
In addition, there are thousands of luxury, new-construction residential units here. As a link between these two neighborhoods, retailers at G12 will have the unique
opportunity to draw customers from both and elevate into one of the most seclectic destinations in Downtown. Whether you’re white collar, blue collar, or a hipster, G12 can be become the crossroads for everyone.
