Our Old Thorns Retreats are packages designed together with your therapist to meet your individual needs.All of our luxuryretreats are open to members and non-members alike and include a light lunch, full use of the Spa and facilities for the day.

SPA RESERVATIONS

We recommend that all treatments are booked in advance to avoid disappointment. In order

to secure a Spa Reservation we will need to take 50% of the total cost per person in advance

of treatments, made payable by either a Credit/Debit Card.

SPA ARRIVALS

We advise that you arrive at least 45mins prior to your first treatment time, to allow you to

change into your robe and slippers and fill out a Health Questionnaire, to enable you to

enjoy the Facilities and for us to confirm your requirements. Please be aware that late arrival

may result in your treatment time being reduced or unable to be honoured.

HEALTH CONDITIONS

Please be advised that some treatments and experiences may be contra-indicated: this will be

discussed during your consultation. If you are taking medication, are post-operative, pregnant

or have a medical condition, it is advisable that you consult your doctor before embarking on

any treatment or programme.

Certain medical conditions may preclude you from having some of the treatments or using

some of the heat facilities.

WHAT TO BRING

For your comfort, we will provide you with a robe, towels and slippers to use throughout your

visit. In mixed areas and all other wet areas we ask that you wear a swimming costume at all

times. For body treatments we will supply disposable underwear. For other treatments, you

may keep on your own underwear or dry swimwear if you prefer. Extra towels are available

for use both in the changing facilities and pool-side.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A Credit/Debit card is required to guarantee all Spa booking.

Cancellation charges are as follows:

Treatments: Cancellation within 24hrs, or failure to attend will incur a 50% charge

Day Spa Packages: Cancellation within 48hrs or failure to attend will incur a 50%

charge.

LOSS OR DAMAGE

We regret we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of your personal possessions.

When you visit, please remember to keep all valuables locked in your locker.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

As Old Thorns Spa is a peaceful sanctuary, no one under 16 years is allowed to use the Spa

unless a hotel resident or member, in which case children may use the indoor pool between

7am-11am and 7pm-9.30pm weekdays ONLY.They must use the relevant gender changing

room, and be accompanied by an adult at all times.

SPA ETIQUETTE

Our Spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation.We kindly ask you to respect all

spa guests’ right to peace and quiet. Mobile phones must be on silent at all times and

smoking is not permitted.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your spa experience, please tell us immediately in

order that we can try to rectify it for you.

HOME CARE

To continue your skin and body care programme at home all Decléor, Sienna, Bare Minerals

and nail care products are available for purchase from Spa reception.

GIFT VOUCHERS
