Schwingel, 93, of the King's Daughters Home in Dansville died Monday (Jan. 9, 1994) in Noyes Memorial Hospital. • A native of Wayland, she had resid- ed in the Dansville area most of her life. She was the widow of William Schwingel She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Loyal Hearts Circle of the King's Daughters in Dansville. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marian Elder of Mesa, Ariz., and a step-daughter, Miss Myra Schwingel of Dansville; a brother, Walter Drum of Cohocton; a sister, Mrs. Alice Grif- fin of Dansville; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Wednes- day. Burial was in Wayland Village Cemetery. Surviving are her husband Howard; four sisters, Esther Etter of Rochester, Dorothy Berg of Arkport, Doris Renken of New Canaan, Conn., and Virginia Kinnell of Agawam, Mass.; two brothers, George Ellis of Ocala, Fla., and Gay lord Ellis of Hornell. A funeral service was conducted Tuesday in the Chamberlin Funeral Home here. Burial was in Green- mount Cemetery, Dansville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arkport Methodist Church. Born in Woodhull, he was a beef cat- tle farmer in the Town of Rathbone. His daughter is Denise Inman of Dansville. Mr. Fenton was a member of the Rathbone Grange and was president of the Rathbone Social Group. Also surviving are his wife, Pauline; a son, LeRoy of Addison; three other daughters, Linda Newkirk of Phoenix City, Ala., Viola Horton of Jordan and Stella McChesney of Corn- ing; two sisters, Elsie Borden of Horseheads and Dorothy Saxton of Cameron Mills; and nine grand- children.
