I have worked to live up to the honor, and am sincerely grateful for your trust, your belief in what we do, your heartfelt gen- erosity, your advice and friendship throughout. It was important to me to identify what really matters to our members, what was sustainable, what was momentary. To shape the narratives that meant the most, and direct our resources to make a prolif- ic contribution in leading Kahal Joseph to ever greater success. None of this would have been possible without the ambitious efforts of our Board of Directors, our Directors-at-Large, our Vice Presidents, Board secretary Louise Elias, my Senior Vice President Jonathan Kelly and Chairman Joseph Dabby, each of whom understood that our challenges, goals and ideals led to the clearest opportunity for progress. I thank our wonderful office staff, Sarah Bouchoucha and Penina Solomon for making our day-to-day reality look so easy. To Dafna Young and Jessica Melhado for their creative input and programming, and Elsa Singman who stood ready to help at any given moment. May the foundation of our spiritual house always be strengthened by their firm beliefs and faith. I feel fortunate to have served our synagogue in a position whose ending is bittersweet. However, I am secure in the knowledge that we will continue to thrive and grow under the leadership of one of our most beloved ladies, Yvette Dabby, whose years of experience and devotion to Kahal Joseph will surely lead to a refreshed view of the road forward. I look back now just to see how far weve come. What was necessary has been accomplished, and accomplished rightly. I think about what the time meant, and how its legacy might nourish whats ahead. Kahal Joseph is a relevant work in progress. I can't help but feel the pride to have played a small part in its remarkable history, and I am so distinctly optimistic about its future. It has been a rare and rewarding privilege indeed, and I leave it knowing that with each expectation, the countless decisions made, every care given, every dream and vision we ever had for Kahal Joseph, was seen through the lens of its widening embrace and development. So I will always remember the profound joy that would have been unknown to me had I not taken this journey - a joy that does not hunger for more and more, but rests satisfied. For this, I am so deeply grateful to each and every one of you. President’s Message

A Remembrance of Things to Come Dear Members: It has been an amazing privilege to preside over Kahal Joseph these past 6 years. I have worked to live up to the honor, and am sincerely grateful for your trust, your belief in what we do, your heartfelt gen-erosity, your advice and friendship throughout.
