Oksana Ani l ionyte col lect ion is based on idea of a soft contro l .The col lect ion is an invest igat ion into inter-re lat ion of min imal ism and modern women.

I found my inspi rat ion in Michelangelo Antonioni f i lms L’Avventura (1960), La Notte (1961), Ecl ipse (1962) and I l deserto rosso (1964). His f i lms concentrate on how the modern wor ld in f luence people and the i r fee l-

ings. Personal fee l ings, doubts, moods are substance of the f i lms.

The works and processes of Robert Morr is , Tony Cragg and Danie l Arsham sculptures and abstract paint ing of Dale Frank served as the in i t ia l inspi rat ion for the s i lhouette, colour, texture and deta i ls of the col lect ion.

The a im was to mix d i fferent techniques and inspi rat ions to reach new and unexpected leve ls. I embraced the complex i t ies and s impl ic i t ies by d i fferent techniques to re invent a vers ion of femin in i ty.

Robert Morr is fe l t sculptures led to create new ways of us ing seams to express the f lu id i ty of l ine. The col-lect ion is a lot about the l ines that are so pure, so c lear, that they convey s impl ic i ty in the i r per fect ion. The

pur i ty is combined with texture that comes f rom tuf t ing embroidery and soft fur to create a new leve l of fee l-ings that garments create when touched.

A d ia logue between t ime and t imelessness runs through the progress ion of the min imal ist aesthet ic which is fe l t in f lu id i ty of seam l ines.

The col lect ion incorporates a range of luxury fabr ics (cashmere, wool , s i lk , fur, leather ) to examine the bal-ance between textures, s i lhouette and a pur i ty of l ine.

I be l ieve that min imal ism is a new way to express new s i lhouette and show the qual i ty of the fabr ics and ma-ter ia ls .
