Osprey fly direction for the winter to warmer weather, but where exactly are they going

and why do they leave?

Studies have found that osprey that breed in the Midwest typically overwinter from country

all the way to South America. Osprey leave their breeding grounds as individuals, not as plural

noun . The typical departure schedule is the female adult leaves, then the male, followed by the full-

grown plural noun . Each one decides where it will overwinter and could all end up in different plac-

es.

An bird takes 15- number days to complete its migration, and it may log more than number

migration miles in its 15- to 20-year lifespan. That boils down to 8,000 miles per time period or

4,000 miles per year.

Why do osprey leave their breeding sites? Osprey that nest in places such as state would not

only have to deal with cold temperatures, which they could most likely survive, but adjective lakes

and wetlands, where they would normally activity . Even if waterways are open, colder tempera-

tures drive animal deeper into the water, and osprey need to fish about three feet or less below

the surface of the water.

In the spring, osprey verb north because of spatial reasons. The U.S. and Canada offer

breeding grounds with more noun , noun and noun than the places they overwinter.
