THE LARGEST COMPUTER IN ICELANDIC HISTORYOpin Kerfi and the University of Iceland have signed a contract for the purchase of hardware from HP. The equipment is intended for the Nordic High Performance Computing data centre which is located in Iceland. The NHPC super computer, consists of 288 HP BL280 servers and performs at 35 tflop/s.Project management, installation, implementation and the testing of equipment is in the hands of the Opin Kerfi and HP experts. Our solutions surpassed all the initial requirements set out by the various specialists at the University.

FARICEFarice owns and operates two submarine data cables between Iceland and the European mainland. The company commissioned Opin kerfi and Cisco to design and implement IP and MPLS solutions for its vital enterprise, internet provider and datacentre business. SERVICE: LEVEL 1 Our Customer Services Department provides general support, via our customer services telephone centre Tel: 570-1000 between 08:30am and 17:00pm.

First Call Resolution: This highly efficient service aims to process over 65% of customer enquiries in regard to services or sales, without the need for call-back. If a solution cannot be identified at this level then clients are referred onto the 2nd level, where their progress will be monitored, until a solution has been found.

SERVICE: LEVEL 2 This professional technology service receives and resolves enquiries from the service centre, in regard to services and sales. The technology service also provides the client with services outside of normal working hours, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.If a solution cannot be identified at this level then clients are referred onto the 3rd level, where their progress will be monitored, until a solution has been found.

SERVICE: LEVEL 3

This professional consultancy and specialist service has vast experience in handling complex installations, implementation and operational deviations. The professional consultancy and specialist service receives and resolves enquiries from the service centre and technology services department.
