Main objectives:

The overall objectives of the proposed projects are:• To contribute to an adequate and sufficient basis of competence

and facts to documentate possible consequences in case of an oil spill close to coast

• To provide documentation ensuring the countermeasures giving the optimal environment gain

Finalized projects phase 1:• Natural dispersion and long term weathering of oils (C1)• Oil on shore lins – natural processes meso scale and laboratory

studies (C2, C3 og C4)• Laboratory testing of shoreline cleaning agents

19 reports have been produced, but they are not public. (finalized February 2009)
