Subject : ONGCARes . ONGC Clinical Assistance and Referral e.System

Referral system for hospitalization in ONGC panel hospitals which ls done on the basis of hard

copies is being digitized to make the process of hospitalization convenient and transparent. This will enable

beneficiaries to have paperless referral system for daycare & indoor hospitalization through Medical Smart

Cards either in planned admission or admission under emergency conditions.

2. This benefit is available only for active and retired employees of ONGC who have valid medical

card.

3. ONGCARes will enable the following:

a. Online facilitation for hospitalization whether it ls a planned admission or emergency

admission.

b. No need to obtain hard copy of referral letter from ONGC Medical Section prior to

hospitallzation.

c. Option of placing admission request through mobile or web application while proceeding for

planned admission in hospital so as to have online approvals from ONGC Medical section &referral letter.

d. In emergency situation walk in straight away to hospital with Medical Smart Card and online

approval/referral letter from ONGC Medical section will be obtained by the corporate helpdesk

of empaneled hospital later after authentication of beneficiary data/documents.

e. Real time statusofadmission in hospital through mail & SMS.

f. Access to list of ONGC doctors across work centers with direct call as well as mail facility

through mobile application,

a. Access to listofoNGc empanelled hospitals across the country with GPs enablement.h. Updating of entitlement in the class of accommodation on promotion in real time.

I Flexibjljty ofavajling treatment at any oNGc empanelled hospital across the country.

Medical smart card being issued under ONGCARes will have the following features:

a. The card chip would contain facial & finger biometrics besides the demographic data.

b. Separate oNGCARes cards forself& dependent family members,

c. Card would be available both as hard copy & soft digital copy (in mobile app) and would also

serve as an identity card to avail corporate discounts during OPD visits in ONGC empanelled

hospitals,

d. Same oNGCARes cards would continue even after superannuation.

5. ONGCARes has been launched by CMD, ONGC as a pilot project for Delhi on 14.08.2021.

However all ONGC users across work centers now can download mobile application and complete on

boarding process for self and dependent family members into ONGCARes.

The detailed process for applying for medical card under ONGCARes is placed at Annexure I.

Annexure -I

How do I apply/register for issuance of ONGCARes card?

Apply/register for ONGCARes card by following the process:

a. Download Mobile Application of ONGCARes through play store/app store on your smart phone &

follow the registration process. A!g!g: PI Keep CPF No., Date of Birth & Aadhaar Card/Voter

Card/Passport handy before starting the registration process.

b. In the first Instance employee will be required to register for self & the registration of dependent

family members will only be possible after the successful registration of the employee.

c. OTP for all the dependent family members will be sent on the employee's mobile number registered

wjth ONGC.

d. Registration for ONGCARes could also be done through internet on laptop/desktop computer by

clicking on the link: ongccares.ongc.co.in (being introduced shortly)

e. Beneficiaries who do not have smart phone may request their near/dear ones to do the registratjon

on their behalf from their smart phone or computer or visit Kiosks stationed in ONGC Offices. (being

introduced shortly).

f. Steps for oNGCARes registration:

• Punchjn the cpFNo& DateofBirth andclickon proceed button

• Set password with combination of upper case, lower case, special character and numbers.

• Set6digitMPIN (Mobilepin)

• Loginwith created MPIN

• Enter basic details like email, blood group, identiflcation mark, Aadhaar number & upload

Aadhaar.

• Take a photo of self in a well-lighted room/area through inbuilt liveness check application in

the app. Pl ensure that photo is of good quality as per your satisfaction as it cannot be

changed once the card is printed. Do not take photo against the light

• Click proceed button after successful photo is uploaded & the registration is done.'You are successfully registered'...this message will be displayed.

• After successful registration of self you can proceed for registration of dependent family

members either from your own mobile or their mobile.

• Family members can also register from their mobile afterdownloading the mob app but they

would require employees' CPF No, DOB and password for first time login.

11. Presently Onboarding for ONGCARes card is available through mobile application & soon it

would also be available (hrough internevintranet as well as Kiosk application in ONGC offices.

Finger prints will be added/updated in the ONGCARes card through Kiosks installed at ONGC

offices whenever the Covid situation improves or circumstances permit to do so.

The cards will be printed centrally at ONGC DUB, Vasant Kunj, Delhi & then will be sent to

concerned work centers where they will be distributed by the concerned ln charge HR-ER &

SEE.

The onboarding of hospjtals & their mapping in the ONGCARes system is under process for

all work centers. Their operationalization would be communicated separately.

Vl. FAQs will also be available in mobile application for the convenience of users.

Vll. Beneficiaries who are unable to register may contact their concerned HR/SEE to

validate/update their medical card data , mobile number etc.
