I wish I had a fishOh how I wish I had a fishI would put him in a dish

And name him Henry McWishWe would laugh and playDance and sing all day

Me and my friend McWishHe would jump through a hoop

He would swim in a loopHe eats out of my hand

He eats food on the sandBut McWish won’t be alone you see

He will have two fish friendsNamed McGull and McGee

I want my three fish in a dishOh how I wish, oh how I wish

But if I had three fish including McGeeWho is the size of five McWishes you see

I would need something bigger than a dishFor my three favorite fish

I would need a tank you seeBecause McGull is as big as McWish and McGee

You might think I’m crazy to thinkMy three fish can flyBut they can the can

Youll miss it if you blinkMost fish don’t fly, they sink

But most fish aren’t my fishAnd I think they stinkMy fish are my friends

They don’t make a soundThey wont ever get lost

Or be found in the poundI don’t want a cat

They sit around all day and get fatI don’t need something to pay

Or something that would eat a ratOh how I wish

How I wish I had a fishOr maybe three
