2. Last season Liverpool won this fi xture 2-1 with all three goals coming early in the second half. Sotirios Kyrgiakos, with his last goal for the club, gave the Reds the lead within two minutes, Jamie Carragher scored an unfortunate own goal before Fernando Torres shot home the winner.
