OLBI: Testing and Evaluation
• A leader in the creation and development of instruments for testing and evaluating language skills, in Canada and internationally.
ESL and FLS proficiency tests; CanTEST and TESTCan; Certification of language skills; TCF (Test de connaissance du français).
• Administers these instruments for the benefit of universities, governments, public institutions and the private sector.

A new program
As of September 9, 2009 the University of Ottawa is the managing institution of the Federal Government’s new Program to Support Linguistic Rights (PSLR) through a joint partnership between OLBI and the Faculty of Law.
