FIRESAFETYRULESThefollowingruleshavebeendictatedbytheLincolnFireMarshallandmustbestrictlyabidedby,ifthereisanynoncompliancewiththeserulestheguiltypartywillbeforcedtodismantletheirlawndisplayandrebuilditinaccordancetotherulesstated. 1. Displaysmustallownormalaccesstoyourlivingunit’sentrances/exits. 2. Displaysmustnotblockanyentryorexitsidewalksandwalkways. 3. Displaysmaynotbeanchoredtolivingunits. 4. YoumusthaveafireextinguishernearthedisplayareaatALLtimes. Jacobson Fire Equipment will provide each living unit hosting a homecoming

lawndisplaywithafireextinguishertohaveonhandwhilethedisplayisbeingconstructed. It is the responsibility of each group tomake sure that the fireextinguisher is kept in close proximity to the display area. Jacobson FireEquipment is providing fire extinguishers free of charge providing they arereturned(fullycharged)onMonday,September28th.Therewillbea$10feeforanyfireextinguishersthatneedtoberechargedanda$45feeforlostorstolenfireextinguishers.

5. A sketch and loose plan of the overall design must be submitted at theSeptember2ndHomecoming2015meeting.Atthistime,RickCampos,LincolnFire Inspector, will review each sketch to assure compliance with the abovestatedregulations.

6.Anyextensioncordsusedmustbe3prongedorgroundedextensioncords.CorporateSponsorship: Corporate sponsorship of displays is allowed if a sign is

prominentlydisplayedatthesite.JUDGINGAmemberrepresentingyourentireGreekGroupmustbepresentatthetimeofjudging,from12:00PM to1:00PM onFriday September25th to answer questions from the judges. Amaximumof2peopleareallowedtorepresentyourgroupatthejudging.NeithertheASUNHomecomingSteeringCommittee,ASUN,norUNLareresponsibleforinjuries, damages, or other destruction that results from the planning, construction,development, or displaying of Lawn Displays. 4. Any items used during the performance must be taken on and off stage by group members.Stageareamustbecleanuponyourgroupsexitfromstage.Noliquidsorglittermaybeused.

5. Amaximumof12membersareallowedtorepresentyourgrouponstage. 6. The Coliseum will be open on Sunday, September 21st at a later established time for a

MANDATORY rehearsal. Total time forperformancemust be less then2minutes. Failure toremaininallottedtimewillresultinperformancepointdetections.FAILURETOREHEARSEATSCHEDULEDTIMEWILLRESULTINORGANIZATIONBEINGDISQUALIFIED.
