PREAMBLE

• In the 21st Century, the Official Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sabadell would like tobe regarded as an entity which is able of successfully face up all the challenges that mayarise in the new century.

• The incorporation of new technologies, the new Euro zone, the opening up of new marketstogether with the concern for providing quality services that cover the needs of thecompanies based in our area, are some of the challenges that we shall have to face in orderto achieve the best support in terms of business management.

• The implantation of a modern Chamber of Commerce that leads the way in representing anddefending general interests in front of the Public Administration authorities, that promotesthe internationalisation of our companies, that collaborates in corporate training, counsellingand promoting economic development. We achieve our goal thanks to a professional team ofexperts who are able to act with the utmost commitment and dedication.


CONCEPT

• In accordance with the Basic Law 4/2014 dated 1st April, the Chamber of Commerceof Sabadell is a public corporation that represents the general interests ofcommerce, industry and services, within the Vallès area where it is responsible forexercising consultative and promotional functions, which are greatly consolidated byLaw 14/2002 (the Official Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Navigation Law ofCatalonia).

• The Chamber is a legal body which is competent to act for the purpose of achievingits aims and exercising the functions that have been attributed to it by the Law.

OBJECTIVES

• All the activities performed by the Chamber of Commerce are performed with theobjective of contributing to the economic development of our area and thedevelopment significant growth of the companies based in its hinterland, channellingall industrial and commercial concerns and promoting the general interests of thesecompanies.
